Born and raised in Paris, he lived and builded his musical path mainly in France, Netherlands, Reunion Island and is established in Montreal since 2010.
After “La Lune de Kala”, Akoz Duo’s disc, “Midnight Cafeine” , “Virages” and "Odd Light”, Olivier presents its 5th album as a leader, ”Fragments” in which compositions find their way between modern jazz and acoustic rock, surprisingly incorporating elements of Reunion Island rhythms & contemporary music.
He has been developping the combination of Kalimba and acoustic bass, opening the possibilities of polyrithmic playing with a unique texture.
He’s one of the official tutors & instructors at Discoverdoublebass.com and helds Masterclasses and clinics. In 2019, he officially launched Midnight Cafeine Music to coordinate creative projects in Montreal, Paris and Reunion Island.
